As part of the MYRA Knowledge Transfer Programme, a workshop titled “Story Quest: Unlock the Magic” was held on 12 February 2025 at the iTrade Lab, Melaka campus. Designed for young learners aged 5 to 9, the workshop provided an engaging and interactive platform for children to explore storytelling while enhancing their English skills, creativity, and confidence.
Utilising the award-winning Jayden’s Story Board Game, the session was led by Mr. Vincent Chan from the Faculty of Business (FOB), alongside his dedicated team members: Ms. Ikha Fadzila Binti Md Idris, Ms. Cheryl Chan, Ms. Nurainiah Binti Abu Hassan, Ms. Nadhrah Binti Abu Hassan, Ms. Nurul Atiqah Binti Mohd Shukry, and Ms. Fathiah Athirah Binti Haris. Additionally, the workshop was supported by FOB students Natasya, Stephanie, and Zhi Jie, who played an integral role in guiding and assisting the participants.
The workshop received highly positive feedback from parents, highlighting its effectiveness in making language learning fun through play-based activities. Given its success, there is hope that this initiative can be expanded on a larger scale to benefit even more young learners in the future.
Well done!
