A workshop on Design Thinking for Young Leaders was successfully conducted at Sekolah Kebangsaan Leftenan Adnan, Kajang, Selangor, on 19 February 2025, engaging a total of 98 students from Standard 4, 5, and 6. The participants, consisting of prefects, librarians, and Pembimbing Rakan Sebaya, were introduced to the fundamentals of design thinking and its applications.

The workshop, initiated by the Faculty of Management (FOM), was part of a school engagement and University Social Responsibility initiative. It was led by Ms. Norzarina Md Yatim, whose engaging approach captivated the students, encouraging them to develop creative problem-solving skills. She was supported by a team of esteemed facilitators, including Dr. Abby Ashraff, Nor Hazleza Mohamad, Noor Shahaliza Othman, Azniyati Akmar Ab Khalid, Zulkefly Yusup, and Dr. Mohd Fairuz Abd Rahim.

The interactive sessions enabled students to explore real-world challenges and implement structured thinking strategies to address them. Through hands-on activities, they were able to collaborate, ideate, and develop innovative solutions. The workshop successfully instilled confidence and critical thinking skills in the young leaders, preparing them for future challenges.

The event was met with positive feedback, with students expressing enthusiasm about applying their newfound knowledge in their leadership roles. This initiative has contributed to holistic education and leadership development among young minds.
