MMU continues to strengthen its ties with industry leaders by collaborating with Payments Network Malaysia (PayNet). This partnership was set in motion during a visit to PayNet’s headquarters in Kuala Lumpur by an MMU delegation led by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, MMU President on 13 January 2025.
The visit aimed at exploring potential collaborations designed to enhance student experience and development, focusing on initiatives such as iCADET programs, talent development, campus engagement, and research collaborations. By aligning MMU’s academic programs with current industry demands, this partnership seeks to equip students with the skills and knowledge essential to thrive in the fast-evolving digital landscape.
This collaboration aims to develop a new generation of talent equipped to meet the challenges and opportunities of the digital economy. The dialogue marks the beginning of a promising partnership that will significantly contribute to the holistic development of MMU students while meeting the dynamic needs of the industry.
Accompanying MMU President were Prof. Ir. Dr. Zulfadzli Yusoff, Vice President of Market Exploration, Engagement, and Touchpoint (MEET), and Prof. Dr. Wong Eng Kiong, Vice President of Student Experience and Entrepreneurship Development. Faculty leaders and other MMU officers from Alumni Engagemet, Career and Entrepreneurship Development (ACED) and Government Liaisons and Industry Engagement (GLIE) also participated, underscoring MMU’s commitment to fostering academic-industry synergies.
