Prof. Ir. Dr. Chan Yee Kit, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) has been awarded the Bakti Perkasa Award (Grade II) by the Commander-in-Chief of St. John Ambulance Malaysia (SJAM), recently. This accolade recognises Prof. Chan’s unwavering dedication and tireless efforts in community service and voluntary initiatives, marking a significant milestone in his remarkable journey of service.

Adding to this honor, Prof. Chan was recently appointed as the Honorary Secretary-General of SJAM during its Annual General Meeting in November 2024. This dual recognition underscores his steadfast commitment to advancing SJAM’s mission of providing lifesaving assistance, training, and community engagement.
