A group of students from the Faculty of Cinematic Arts (FCA) attended the premiere screening of RIVERSI at GSC Tropicana Gardens Mall on 30 November 2024, an opportunity extended by GSC Cinemas. The highlight of the event was an engaging Q&A session with Adrian Teh, the film director, who shared insights into the creative and technical aspects of bringing the sci-fi romance to life. Teh discussed the challenges of storytelling, the importance of innovation, and his journey as a filmmaker, offering invaluable advice to aspiring creatives.

This experience proved transformative for the students, providing a firsthand glimpse into the workings of the film industry. Beyond enjoying the screening, they gained practical knowledge on bridging academic theory with industry practice. Interacting with a seasoned filmmaker inspired them to approach their projects with greater creativity and discipline while reinforcing the importance of collaboration. Events like this not only broaden their horizons but also encourage them to envision their roles in shaping the future of Malaysian cinema and beyond.
