The grand closing of Sports Mania 2024 took place on 18 November 2024 at the Cyberjaya campus, marking the successful conclusion of a week-long celebration of sportsmanship and team spirit. The event was graced by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, who led the celebration in honouring the winners from various sports categories.
Held from 11 to 18 November, Sports Mania 2024 saw fierce competition among students from six halls: Mahamiru, Laksamana, Samudera, Rajawali, Kasturi, and Inderasakti. The closing ceremony was further enlivened by a special appearance from renowned artist Faizal Tahir, who added an extra touch of excitement to the festivities.
The event was also attended by other MMU leaders and the Student Lifestyle & Experience (STyLE) division team, who played a key role in organising the event. This year’s Sports Mania has once again reinforced the importance of community, camaraderie, and healthy competition within the MMU student body.
