A team of five staff members from MMU secured a spot in the top four at the Wellbeing 360: Bumiku City Race organized by Kelab TM Malaysia on 26 October 2024. The MMU team comprised Dr. Abby Ashraff Saprudin and Zulkefly Yusup from the Faculty of Management (FOM), Faozan Ahmad Zawawi and Iskandar Kamel Mohamed Nor from the Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI), and Azuwan Nizan Kamarudin from the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM). Together, they demonstrated remarkable synergy by blending their expertise in sustainability, technology, and creativity.

Competing against teams from various Kelab TM branches nationwide, the MMU team stood out in a race designed to spark innovative thinking around sustainability and urban living. The Bumiku City Race, held across major attractions in Kuala Lumpur, challenged participants to devise innovative solutions that balance environmental stewardship with urban development.

The MMU team’s outstanding performance in the race underscores the university’s dedication to sustainable innovation and its drive for interdisciplinary collaboration. This achievement not only highlights MMU’s commitment to advancing sustainability in Malaysia but also emphasises the importance of teamwork and cross-faculty cooperation in tackling real-world challenges.
