As part of its ongoing commitment to fostering community ties, MMU’s Beamer team launched the “Balik Kampung” initiative, engaging with school communities in Johor. The team visited three schools, including Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK) Benut, Sekolah Kebangsaan Parit Kudus and MRSM Pontian. Dr. Siti Zakiah Melatu Samsi, Dean of the Faculty of Business (FOB), captivated Form 6 students with an inspiring session, sharing her personal journey and professional insights.
Her talk aimed to motivate students to embrace lifelong learning and pursue their aspirations with confidence. Adding to the excitement, students actively participated in a range of interactive activities designed to foster creativity and teamwork. Enthusiastic winners were rewarded with exclusive MMU merchandise, creating memorable moments and further strengthening ties with the local community. This initiative was also supported by the Corporate Communication Department and Student Recruitment Office teams.
