Multimedia University (MMU) and Raffles University Malaysia formalised a strategic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Cyberjaya campus on 25 November 2024. The agreement aims to foster collaboration in academic and research initiatives, bringing mutual benefits to both institutions and their respective communities.
The MoU was signed by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, and Assoc. Prof. Greg Pritchard, President of Raffles University. This partnership underscores the shared commitment of both universities to enhance opportunities for innovation and academic advancement.
The signing ceremony also was attended by Ms. Nadia Mahmud, Dean of Faculty of Creative Multimedia, Ts. Shahfeeq Jibin, Dean of Faculty of Cinematic Arts, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Junaidi Abdullah, Dean of Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI), Ms. Suhana Salled, Deputy Dean of Faculty of Applied Communication and other faculty members.
This MoU sets the foundation for various academic and research collaborations, including joint research projects, student and staff exchange programs, and co-hosted academic events. Both universities envision the partnership as a catalyst for advancing knowledge and cultivating innovation on a global scale.
