Multimedia University (MMU) hosted a delegation from Nanning University, China, at its Cyberjaya campus on 27 November 2024, marking a significant milestone in the growing partnership between the two institutions. The delegation, led by Dr. Gong Ji, Vice President of Nanning University, was warmly welcomed by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU.
The discussions during the visit focused on exploring innovative initiatives and potential partnerships aimed at enhancing academic collaboration and advancing research across both universities. This dialogue was further enriched by the participation of MMU’s leadership team, faculty deans, and key academic staff.
A key moment of the visit was the appointment of Prof. Dr. Ong Duu Sheng, a professor at MMU, as an Adjunct Professor at Nanning University. Prof. Ong will collaborate with the College of Traffic and Transportation at Nanning University on high-level research projects and publications, further strengthening the academic ties between the two institutions. Additionally, ten exchange students from Nanning University are currently studying at MMU, further enhancing the cultural and academic exchange between the two universities.
This visit has reinforced MMU’s international relations and solidified its position as a global hub for education, research, and innovation.
