On 23 October 2024, the King Sejong Institute (KSI) MMU Melaka was honored to be a special guest at SMK Tinggi Perempuan Melaka’s “Hari Kokurikulum dan Hari Koperasi”.  Held at the school’s main hall, the event offered an exciting opportunity for school students to immerse themselves in Korean culture through engaging and interactive activities hosted at the KSI MMU Melaka booth.

At the booth, KSI MMU Melaka promoted its Korean language and culture programs, including information about Korean language classes available at the institute. Students had the unique experience of trying on traditional Korean attire, the hanbok, and participated in classic Korean games such as jegichagi (a Korean version of hacky sack), gonggi (a traditional five-stone game), and dakji (a folded paper flipping game). The booth also featured a calligraphy session, where students could try their hand at writing in Hangul.

To make the experience even more memorable, students received free KSI brochures, badges, and even K-pop albums, all of which were highly appreciated by both students and teachers alike. The event was a great success, with enthusiastic participation from the school community and a positive reception for the KSI booth’s activities.

Well done!
