On 8 October 2024, Multimedia University warmly hosted a delegation from Riphah International University, Islamabad, Pakistan, led by Prof. Dr. Yawar Hayat Khan, Deputy Vice Chancellor – Academics. The delegation was greeted by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, at the Cyberjaya campus.
During the visit, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham provided an insightful overview of MMU’s rich history, mission, and achievements in higher education. The two parties engaged in fruitful discussions, exchanging views and perspectives on various aspects of academic engagement and collaboration in the evolving landscape of higher education.
In addition to the discussions, the delegation toured the campus facilities, exploring the state-of-the-art resources available to MMU students and faculty. This visit marks an important initial step towards fostering collaboration between MMU and Riphah International University, with the potential for future partnerships in academic programs and research initiatives.
The meeting was also attended by Prof. Ir. Dr. Hairul Azhar Abdul Rashid, Vice President of Market Exploration, Engagement & Touchpoint (MEET), Mr. Zambri Pawanchik, Vice President of Strategic Marketing, Admission & Recruitment (SMART) and Dr. Abdul Aziz Ahmad, from the International Collaboration and Engagement (ICE) team.
