On 21 October 2024, MMU had the honor of hosting a delegation from China Telecom, led by its Executive Director, Mr. Li Jun, at the Cyberjaya campus. The delegation also included key representatives from ZTE Corporation, including Vice President Mr. Zhu He Ping, as well as Dr. Diong Kah Seng, Vice President of ZTE Malaysia, accompanied by his team.
The delegation was warmly welcomed by MMU’s President, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud. The visit provided an excellent platform for MMU and China Telecom to explore potential avenues for collaboration, with a focus on fostering stronger ties between industry and academia on an international scale.
It is hoped that this significant visit will serve as a stepping stone towards future partnerships, further solidifying MMU’s commitment to nurturing global connections and advancing technological innovation through meaningful industry collaborations.

Prof. Dr. Ooi Chee Pun, Dean of Faculty of Engineering (FOE), Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Junaidi Abdullah, Dean of Faculty of Computing & Informatics (FCI) and other MMU staff.
