MMU held a special Meet & Greet session to celebrate the outstanding achievements of its student-athletes who triumphed at the Sukan Institusi Pendidikan Tinggi (SUKIPT) 2024. The event took place on 2 October 2024 at the MMU Melaka campus, where Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, personally congratulated 14 student-athletes who secured medals in this prestigious competition.
During the session, Prof. Mazliham expressed his pride and admiration for the athletes, acknowledging their hard work, dedication, and contribution to MMU’s rising success in sports. Their impressive performances not only brought glory to the university but also played a pivotal role in elevating MMU’s overall ranking to 9th in this year’s SUKIPT edition—an achievement that reflects MMU’s growing prominence in the national sports arena.
The event was graced by Prof. Dr. Wong Eng Kiong, Vice President of Student Experience & Entrepreneurship Development (SEED), Mr. Zambri Pawanchik, Vice President of Strategic Marketing, Admission & Recruitment (SMART), Faculty Dean and representatives, members of the Student Lifestyle & Experience (STyLE) team, as well as Students’ Representative Council (SRC) who were all present to celebrate the athletes’ success and offer their continued support.
