Mirsha Naresh Kumar, a student from the Faculty of Management (FOM), was proudly selected to participate in the prestigious Juliette Low Seminar (JLS) 2024. Representing both Malaysia and Multimedia University (MMU), Mirsha took part in the in-person international visit at Sangam World Centre in Pune, India, from 29 September to 5 October 2024.

The JLS is an esteemed leadership development program organised by the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS). It is designed to empower young women aged 18 to 30 by fostering intercultural exchange and cross-border learning experiences. The seminar provides participants with a unique opportunity to network with peers from across the globe and to develop critical leadership skills that prepare them for future leadership roles.

The 2024 edition of the JLS runs from 27 April to 7 December, combining virtual learning with an international visit to one of five WAGGGS World Centres. This blended format allows participants to engage in online workshops, discussions, and assignments, followed by an enriching in-person experience that deepens their learning and strengthens international connections.

Mirsha’s selection for this global event underscores her leadership potential and her commitment to personal growth. It is also a testament to MMU’s support in fostering the development of future leaders who can excel on the world stage.

Well done!
