On 9 October 2024, the Entrepreneurship Development Centre (EDC), led by Ms. Putri Syaidatul Akma Mohd Adzmi, Deputy Director of Alumni Engagement, Career & Entrepreneurship, conducted an industrial visit to SMECorp in Kuala Lumpur. The visit served as a platform for both parties to explore collaborative initiatives aimed at empowering MMU students and alumni founders. A key focus was placed on the eCadet initiative, through which SMECorp could offer vital services such as business counseling, networking opportunities, and additional entrepreneurial support.
MMU and SMECorp continue to maintain a strong partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) formalized earlier. During the visit, Ms. Putri and SMECorp reaffirmed their shared commitment to nurturing entrepreneurship and innovation within the university community. Moving forward, this collaboration is expected to create valuable opportunities, further supporting the entrepreneurial journeys of MMU students and alumni.
