MMU Student Earns Recognition at National Wajadiri Silat Cekak Pusaka Hanafi Championship

We are proud to extend our heartiest congratulations to Megat Nur Hasanal Putera bin Norrasidi from the Faculty of Information Science & Technology (FIST) for securing the prestigious “Pegawai Penerangan Terbaik” award at the Wajadiri Silat Cekak Pusaka Hanafi National Championship on 7 September 2024. The competition was held at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn (UTHM), Pagoh campus.

In addition to Megat, three other talented martial artists from MMU also represented Melaka in this national event, which saw participation from 17 teams representing 10 states across Malaysia. In the Pertandingan Persembahan Penerangan, Megat triumphed over nine other teams, showcasing his exceptional skills and dedication to the art of Silat Cekak. Megat walked away with a plaque and a certificate for this achievement.

Once again, congratulations to Megat and all our participants for bringing pride to MMU and exemplifying the spirit of excellence!
