On 13 September 2024, the Centre for Alumni, in collaboration with the Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI), hosted an engaging Permata Dunia Returns session at the Cyberjaya campus featuring guest speaker Ms. Dalila Abdul Halim. A proud graduate from the Class of 2011, Ms. Dalila brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the event, having spent over 11 years in the industry as a Senior Graphic Designer, working with six different companies.
During her presentation, she provided invaluable insights into the world of app and website development, emphasising the importance of User Interface (UI) design in enhancing user experiences. Her practical examples and industry anecdotes resonated with the audience, inspiring many students to consider the significance of design in technology.
Currently, Ms. Dalila is dedicated to sharing her passion for multimedia as a Lecturer at Kolej Poly-Tech MARA (KPTM) in Ipoh, Perak. Her commitment to education and mentorship continues to influence the next generation of digital creators. The session not only highlighted her professional journey but also served as an excellent opportunity for students to gain firsthand knowledge about the latest trends and best practices in the field of computing and informatics.
