Multimedia University (MMU) has taken significant strides in expanding its academic footprint in Indonesia by signing two pivotal Memorandums of Agreement (MoAs) with two Indonesian universities. The first agreement was signed with Universitas Mercu Buana (UMB) on 13 August 2024, where the collaboration was formalised by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, and Prof. Andi Adriansyah, Rector of UMB.
Just a day earlier, on 12 August 2024, MMU also inked an MoA with Universitas Bina Nusantara (BINUS). The agreement was signed by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud and Prof. Dezie Leonarda Warganegara, Executive Dean of BINUS Business School. The ceremony was witnessed by Dr. Nelly, Rector of BINUS. These strategic partnerships are poised to elevate academic collaboration between the institutions, focusing on initiatives such as lecturer exchange programs, the appointment of visiting professors, joint lecture series, and the exploration of other academic opportunities.
The signing ceremonies were attended by Prof. Ir. Dr. Hairul Azhar Abdul Rashid, Vice President of Market Exploration, Engagement & Touchpoint (MEET), and Prof. Dr. Gerald Goh Guan Gan, Director of Strategy & Quality Assurance (SQA). These agreements mark a significant milestone in MMU’s ongoing efforts to expand its academic reach and foster a dynamic exchange of knowledge and expertise between Malaysia and Indonesia.
