Ts. Dr. Anusuyah Subbarao from the Faculty of Management (FOM) brought MMU’s presence to the international arena when she participated in two international conferences in July 2024. First, she chaired the “Affective User-Centred Analysis, Design and Evaluation” session at the 18th Multi Conference on Computer Systems held in Budapest, Hungary. Organised by the International Association for Development of the Information Society, the event attracted participants from around the world. Dr. Anusuyah’s role in chairing the session underscored her expertise and leadership in the field, as she guided discussions and facilitated the exchange of knowledge on innovative approaches to user-centered design and evaluation, with a particular focus on enhancing user experiences through affective analysis.
In addition to her role as a session chair, Dr. Anusuyah presented a compelling paper titled “Digital Transformation in Higher Education: A Roadmap” at the International Conference on Digital Transformation and Innovation Management. Her paper provided an in-depth analysis of the current state of digital transformation in higher education, highlighting the significant changes and challenges institutions face in integrating digital technologies into their educational frameworks. She outlined a comprehensive roadmap for successfully navigating these transformations, focusing on strategies to enhance teaching, learning, and administrative processes through digital innovation.
Dr. Anusuyah’s presentation was well-received by the international audience, sparking insightful discussions and exchanges of ideas. Participants appreciated her thorough analysis and practical recommendations, which provided valuable insights for their own institutions’ digital transformation journeys. Her contributions highlighted the importance of strategic planning and innovative thinking in addressing the evolving needs of higher education in the digital age.
