Multimedia University (MMU) and Leuze Electronic Malaysia have embarked on a promising collaboration, formalised by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Cyberjaya campus on 16 August 2024. The agreement was signed by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, and Mr. Welmer Suarez, General Manager of Leuze Electronic Malaysia.
As a leading international expert in sensor and automation technology with over 60 years of industry experience, Leuze Electronic Malaysia is poised to play a crucial role in shaping the future of MMU students. Through this partnership, students will gain valuable industry exposure via collaborative activities, expert-led talks, and a dedicated talent pipeline connecting them directly to opportunities at Leuze.
The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Wong Eng Kiong, Vice President of Student Experience & Entrepreneurship Development, Assoc. Prof Dr. Ong Jeen Wei, Director of Alumni, Career & Entrepreneurship Development (ACE), and Mr. Albert Quek, Deputy Director of ACE, alongside other staff members. This collaboration marks a step forward in preparing MMU students for the industry, equipping them with the essential skills and knowledge to excel in the fast-changing world of automation technology.
