On 28 June 2024, the MESRA Club, in collaboration with the Centre for Alumni (CfA), organised an informative webinar titled “PERKESO PRIHATIN: Peranan dan Fungsi PERKESO.” This session, attended by MESRA members, provided an in-depth understanding of PERKESO’s role in offering social protection and assistance to workers.
The webinar was led by Mr. Muhammad Fitri bin M. Shamsuddin, an esteemed alumnus from the class of 2018. During the session, Mr. Muhammad Fitri covered various critical aspects of PERKESO, including its operations, the types of assistance available, and the range of services and facilities it provides.
By organising this webinar, the MESRA Club and CfA aimed to equip MESRA members with comprehensive knowledge about their rights and responsibilities as PERKESO contributors. The initiative also sought to raise awareness about the importance of contributions to PERKESO and how these contributions play a vital role in safeguarding the welfare of workers in Malaysia.
This initiative underscores our commitment to ensuring that all members are well-informed about the benefits and support available to them through PERKESO, thus enhancing their overall welfare and security.
