On 20 July 2024, two talented students from Multimedia University (MMU) showcased their exceptional oratory skills and clinched prizes at the Sayembara Deklamasi Majlis Bandaraya Diraja Klang (MBDK) 2024. Muhammad Faris Fiqran bin Muhammad from the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) secured the third prize, while Nursyafirah Syazana from the Faculty of Computing & Informatics (FCI) won the fourth prize.
Faris impressed the judges with his compelling performance, earning a cash prize of RM300 and a certificate, while Nursyafirah walked away with a cash prize of RM100 and a certificate. Organised by the Majlis Bandaraya Diraja Klang (MBDK), the event brought together contestants from various schools, universities, and institutions at the Laman Seni Safari, Klang.
The competition also featured captivating syair and poetry performances by invited guests, En. Mohd Zulhafis Zulkeply (Along Gambus) and En. Syeikh Shuhaimi Sheikh Abdul Rahim, adding a rich cultural dimension to the occasion.
