On 28 June 2024, a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed between Multimedia University (MMU) and Comarnet Sdn Bhd at the Cyberjaya campus. The agreement was formalised by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, and Mr. Fauzul Hazwan Khalid, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Comarnet Sdn Bhd.
Mr. Fauzul, an esteemed alumnus (Permata Dunia) who graduated from the Faculty of Management (FOM) in 2014, expressed his commitment to supporting his alma mater. Through this partnership, Comarnet Sdn Bhd will provide scholarships to deserving and eligible MMU students, furthering their academic and professional aspirations.
Founded in 2023, Comarnet Sdn Bhd serves a wide range of industries, assisting businesses in building and transforming their network and security infrastructure, securely moving to the cloud, and achieving their digital agendas.
The MoA signing ceremony was attended by several guests, including Mr. Aslahuddin Mohd Zainal Arifin, Chief Operating Officer of Comarnet Sdn Bhd; Prof. Dr. Wong Eng Kiong, Vice President of Student Experience & Entrepreneurship Development; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ong Jeen Wei, Director of Alumni, Career & Entrepreneurship Development; Puan Nur Azurah Rezo, Academic Registrar; and other esteemed staff members.
This collaboration marks a significant milestone in fostering educational opportunities and enhancing the overall academic experience for MMU students, reflecting both parties’ dedication to nurturing future leaders and innovators.
