In a heartwarming community engagement, around 80 students from the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) participated in the Mendakap Alam programme, a three-day mural painting event held in Kampung Warna Warni Seberang Ramai, Kuala Perlis. The students were supported by their faculty lecturers and the Student Lifestyle & Experience (STyLE) team, working together to bring vibrant artwork and joy to the local villagers.
The programme was officially launched by DYMM Pemangku Raja Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, alongside the President of MMU, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud. The Mendakap Alam programme not only beautified the village but also fostered a sense of community and collaboration, leaving a lasting positive impact on both the students and the villagers of Kampung Seberang Ramai.
Adding to the event’s significance, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between MMU and Kolej Universiti Islam Perlis (KUIPs) during a ceremony held at Dewan Sekolah Kebangsaan Seberang Ramai on 6 July 2024. The MoU was signed by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, MMU President and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rozaimi Ramle, Rector of KUIPs.
