A two-day Karnival Pendidikan Futuristik, organized by the Student Recruitment and Admission Department (SRAD), was held at Ungku Omar Polytechnic in Perak from 10 to 11 July 2024. The event was inaugurated by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, who also delivered an inspiring motivational talk to the attending students.
The officiating ceremony was graced by Mdm Puteri Dazuraimah binti Megat Yunus from the Kinta Utara District Education Office, Mr. Norman bin Zamri, Deputy Academic Director representing the Director of Ungku Omar Polytechnic, and Mr. Zambri Pawanchik, Vice President of Strategic Marketing, Admission & Recruitment (SMART) MMU, along with other officers.
Throughout the carnival, students participated in a variety of workshops and activities organised by faculty representatives. They were introduced to the diverse academic offerings of the university and had the opportunity to engage with counsellors to learn more about specific programmes. This educational event not only helped students discover more about MMU but also gave them a glimpse into university life, broadening their perspectives on higher education and future career paths.
