MMU Staff Selected for Prestigious WISTMI Cohort II

We are delighted to announce that Dr. Olivia Tan Swee Leng, Director of the Technology Transfer Office (TTO), has been selected for Cohort II of the Women in Strategic Trade Mentorship Initiative (WISTMI) in June 2024. This esteemed selection, conducted by Coalescion and the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Export Control Cooperation, Export Control and Related Border Security Program (ECC/EXBS), highlights Dr. Olivia’s remarkable contributions and expertise. 

Representing both MMU and Malaysia, Dr. Olivia will participate in a mentorship programme focused on the strategic trade craft across three pillars: Empowerment, Capacity-Building, and Community Engagement. She will attend a three-day orientation in Manila this September, marking the beginning of her journey in this prestigious initiative.
