VR Student Clinches Top Spot at 3D Design Challenge 2024

Let us extend our heartfelt congratulations to Teoh Sing Jian, a final-year student of Virtual Reality programme from the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) for winning first prize in the 3D Design Challenge 2024 on 23 May 2024. With the theme “Journey to Mars”, this competition was jointly organised by STEM.or.my and Creative Minds Education. Teoh received a 3D printer, exclusive merchandise, and a certificate.  

The competition featured 80 participants in the Open Category called Mars Rover Engineer. Teoh advanced to the final stage and ultimately won the competition with his innovative Mars Rover design. His presentation highlighted key features of the rover, which captivated the judges of the competition.
