The Faculty of Management (FOM) hosted a thought-provoking Industrial Talk aimed at fortifying anti-corruption values among its students, recently. Led by Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption (ABAC) Advocate, Mr. Balakrishnan Rajagopal, the event took place at CNMX 1002 Lecture Hall, Cyberjaya campus. Mr. Rajagopal, an Industry Learning Partner appointed by FOM, collaborated with Dr. Junainah Mahdee, Assistant Professor (Marketing), in spearheading this significant discussion.

The session seamlessly integrated various learning methodologies, blending informative presentations with interactive group activities. A pivotal aspect of the event was a video session showcasing MMU’s own short film addressing bribery and anti-corruption practices in marketing and social media. Nearly 100 participating students, primarily from the Fundamentals of Marketing class, actively engaged in the dialogue, highlighting the relevance and importance of the topic within the academic community.

Through dynamic discussions and collaborative exercises, students were encouraged to internalise the significance of ethical conduct in both academic pursuits and future professional endeavours. Such initiatives underscore MMU’s steadfast commitment to nurturing a culture of integrity and accountability among its students, shaping them into ethical leaders of tomorrow.
