The Centre for Alumni (CfA) successfully organised two Permata Dunia Returns sessions at the Cyberjaya and Melaka campuses on 23 May 2024. In collaboration with the Faculty of Business (FOB), Ms. Azliana Azizan, Head of Safety Health Environment at Honda Malaysia, delivered an insightful talk to 30 students on the importance of Occupational Health and Safety. The discussion centered on guidelines primarily aimed at protecting employees in the workplace from accidents, injuries, and exposure to harmful substances. Ms. Azliana, a Permata Dunia alumna from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET), graduated in 2011. 

At the Cyberjaya campus, Ms. Nurul Hasanah Awang, Communications Manager of Petronas, conducted an engaging session titled ‘Why Workplace Communication is Important and How to Improve It’ for 40 students. She elucidated how communication serves as the channel to exchange information between employees in a work environment, encompassing face-to-face conversations, emails, chat messages, videoconferencing, phone calls, and other methods used to convey information. A graduate of the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) in 2008, Ms. Nurul Hasanah’s talk was also attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ong Jeen Wei, Director of Alumni Engagement, Career and Entrepreneurship Development (ACED).
