The Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) Alumni Committee organised an insightful Alumni Sharing Session titled “What’s Next After University Degree?” on 20 May 2024 at the Melaka campus. The session featured Ms. Dina Naqiba Nur Ezzaty Abd Wahid, a 2021 graduate with a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) in Electronics, specialising in Telecommunication, who is currently an Engineer at Intel Corporation.
Held via the Microsoft Teams platform, the online session attracted 27 participants and spanned an engaging one-hour interactive discussion. Ms. Dina shared her personal experiences, valuable tips, and practical information on her journey from graduation to her current role. She provided insights into the challenges and triumphs she encountered in her engineering career.
Additionally, Ms. Dina delivered an inspiring pep talk, encouraging students to remain positive and pursue their dreams with determination. The session concluded with a lively discussion and Q&A segment, where students actively participated and sought advice.
The feedback from FET students was overwhelmingly positive, with many finding the session highly relevant and informative for their career preparations. They expressed eagerness for more alumni sharing sessions in the future, appreciating the valuable insights and inspiration provided by the alumni.
