On 23 May 2024, MMU Press unveiled four remarkable publications during a launching ceremony held at the Multipurpose Hall, Cyberjaya campus. The event was graced by Professor Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU alongside Dr. Sharlene Thiagarajah, Chief Executive Officer of TMR&D. In his address, Prof. Dato’ Mazliham commended the editors and teams for their contribution and encouraged the continued publication of such works in the future.
Under the theme, “Delving into Arts and Digital Technology”, these publications underscore the profound impact of both arts and technology in our daily lives. They include titles such as Recent Advancements in Engineering and Technology, Information Science and Digital Society, Nurturing the Artistic Voice 1: Teaching Art in a Studio and Visual Programming with TouchDesigner. Attendees were treated to enlightening sharing sessions by the editors, providing insights into the content of the new publication. The ceremony concluded with a group photo session, followed by the exploration of booths showcasing the publication.
