The Centre for Alumni (CFA) orchestrated a memorable virtual event titled “Middle East Chapter: Alumni Reunion & Networking,” held on May 11, 2024. This significant gathering provided a platform for MMU alumni to reconnect with fellow Permata Dunia members, nurturing bonds that may have faded over time. It also served as an opportunity to establish new connections, leveraging expertise to contribute back to their beloved alma mater.
The virtual event was graced by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, and Prof. Dr. Wong Eng Kiong, Vice President of Student Experience and Entrepreneurship Development (SEED), alongside MMU management, deans, directors, and deputy directors.
A highlight of the session was the endorsement of the Middle East Chapter Representative, notably Mr. Mohammed Ebrahim Al Hendi, a Permata Dunia FET alumnus from the class of 2009. Mr. Al Hendi will spearhead Middle East alumni activities, supported by CFA. With the establishment of this chapter, it will cultivate a continued spirit of support and collaboration among our alumni, enabling us to stand tall and proud as an institution.
