Sekolah@MMU in collaboration with the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) and various clubs including Pentas MMU, Indian Culture Society (ICS), Google Developer Student Club (GDSC), University Peer Group (UPG) and International Student Society joined hands in organising an event, Festival Ville on 26 April 2024 at MMU Cyberpark. The event was initiated by Student Lifestyle and Experience (STyLE). Supported by Yayasan Universiti Multimedia (YUM), the event aimed to celebrate the joyous spirit of Raya festivities while fostering unity and camaraderie on campus.
The event was honoured by the presence of Professor Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU. Attendees were treated to an array of engaging activities and performances including traditional Malay silat demonstration, traditional dances, fashion runway, busker performances, and exciting lucky draw sessions. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and joy and about 2,000 students from both Cyberjaya and Melaka campuses came together to celebrate.
Among other attendees were Puan Nor Adni Ismail, Vice President of Finance & Business Ventures (F&BV), Prof. Ir. Dr. Hairul Azhar Abdul Rashid, Vice President of Market Exploration, Engagement & Touchpoint (MEET), Mr. Izad Ismail, Director of YUM, Prof. Dr. Gerald Goh Guan Gan, Director of Strategy Quality & Assurance (SQA), Ts. Dr. Low Jing Hong, Dean of the Faculty of Management (FOM), Mdm. Sri Kusuma Wati, Director of STyLE, Mr. Thaniges A/L Kumar, President of SRC and STyLE officers. It was truly a memorable evening of celebration and unity on campus.
