On 4 April 2024, Multimedia University (MMU) received a visit from a delegation of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation led by its Secretary General, YBhg. Dato’ Ts. Dr. Hj. Aminuddin Hashim at the Center of Excellence, Development & Research, TM Innovation Centre Cyberjaya. The delegation received a warm reception from Professor Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU together with Dr. Sharlene Thiagarah, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TMR&D.
During this visit, YBhg. Dato’ Aminuddin was briefed on TMR&D, which is a subsidiary of MMU and the ongoing research projects being conducted there. This facilitated a deeper understanding of the innovative endeavours and technological advancements being pursued within the institution. The MOSTI delegation was also taken on a tour of the Innovation Lab and the TMR&D showroom.
Additionally present were Prof. Ir. Dr. Hairul Azhar Abdul Rashid, Vice President of Market Exploration, Engagement and Touchpoint (MEET), the Research Management Centre team and other staff.
