Sixty students recently visited the Faculty of Business (FOB) to participate in a workshop titled ‘Gratitude with AI Tools’ on 20 March 2024 at the Melaka campus. The session, led by four academic staff members including Dr. Subhacini Subramaniam, Ms. Siow Yung Ern, Ms. Usha Vellappan, and Ms. Ng Woan Ming, aimed to introduce the students, who are SPM leavers to the usage of AI tools in expressing gratitude to their loved ones.
During the workshop, participants delved into the concept of gratitude and its significance in daily life. Through hands-on activities, students learned to create gratitude posts using Canva Magic Media tools, allowing them to design beautiful Instagram posters expressing their appreciation. These posters were then shared with their loved ones as tokens of gratitude.
The workshop proved to be enlightening for many students, as they were introduced to the concept of gratitude and the practical application of the Canva app for the first time. Overall, it was a fruitful session that equipped students with new skills and knowledge.
