The Centre for Lifelong Learning and Educational Content Development (LEAD) hosted its inaugural lifelong learning carnival at the TM Innovation Centre in Cyberjaya on 29 February 2024. Dr. Tenku Putri Norishah Tenku Shariman, Director of LEAD welcomed the audience during the event.
The carnival featured various activities and engagements including workshops, bazaar, and a panel session. The session entitled “Embracing the Journey of Lifelong Learning” was held with three speakers namely Prof. Dr. Abdul Karim Alias, Research Fellow from UNITEN, Ms. Marsyitah Ismail, Head of Training and Professional Development of OpenLearning and Mr. Ali Razaei, an alumnus of lifelong learning.
It aimed as an avenue for working adults to explore the academic opportunities via microcredentials, Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL), and others. It is hoped that the audience gained insightful perspectives on lifelong learning initiatives.
