In an enriching educational endeavour, a group of 33 Diploma in Accounting students from the Faculty of Business (FOB), accompanied by four diligent lecturers, embarked on a field trip to the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia or LHDN Cyberjaya, recently.

During the visit, the students were briefed comprehensively about the functions and responsibilities of LHDN (Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri), Malaysia’s tax authority. This immersive experience provided valuable insights into the operational intricacies of tax administration, enhancing the students’ understanding of real-world fiscal practices.

In addition to the informative sessions, the students engaged in quizzes, fostering active participation and knowledge retention. This interactive approach further augmented the educational value of the trip, encouraging students to apply theoretical concepts in practical scenarios.

The field trip to LHDN Cyberjaya served as a testament to the importance of experiential learning in academic development.
