FOE Hosts Insightful Industrial Visit for Libyan Cohort

The Faculty of Engineering’s Industrial Linkage Committee organised an insightful industrial visit to the TM Klang Valley Data Centre (KVDC) on 6 March 2024, exclusively for the MSc. Engineering Business Management students — the inaugural cohort of Libyan students.

Guided by Dr. Azwan Mahmud, participants explored key areas including the data centre server room, the chiller, UPS, and generator rooms, as well as the data centre operation room. During the visit, participants engaged in a question-and-answer session, facilitating a deeper understanding of the intricacies of data centre operations.

This immersive experience fostered a spirit of inquiry and appreciation for modern infrastructure. This initiative underscores MMU’s commitment to bridging academia with industry, equipping students with practical knowledge that adds value to enhance their professional careers.
