FOB Welcomes Second Batch of Firebird Institute of Research in Management of India

The Faculty of Business (FOB) opened its doors to the second cohort of students from the Firebird Institute of Research in Management of India on 22 March  2024, at the Cyberjaya campus. Led by the esteemed Professor Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, the welcoming ceremony epitomised the spirit of international collaboration and academic exchange.

Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud extended a gracious welcome to the visiting students, emphasising the importance of cross-cultural learning experiences and the value of forging connections across borders. Each student was presented with a souvenir as a token of appreciation and warm hospitality from MMU.

The event was graced by the presence of Prof. Ir. Dr. Hairul Azhar Abdul Rashid, Vice President of Market Exploration, Engagement and Touchpoint (MEET), and Dr. Siti Zakiah Melatu Samsi, Dean of the Faculty of Business, along with dedicated staff members. 

The collaboration between FOB and the Firebird Institute of Research in Management represents a significant step towards fostering global citizenship and preparing students for success in an increasingly interconnected world. Through shared knowledge, cultural exchange, and collaborative endeavours, MMU continues to strive towards excellence in education and international engagement.
