As we usher in the year of Dragon, Multimedia University (MMU) celebrated the Chinese Cultural Extravaganza in conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration at the Melaka campus on 2 February 2024. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU officiated the event together with the presence Prof. Dr. Wong Eng Kiong, Vice President of Student Experience and Entrepreneurship Development cum Director of Melaka campus, Prof. Dr. Wong Hin Yong, Vice President of Academic and Innovative Learning, Mdm. Nor Adni Ismail, Vice President of Finance and Business Ventures, and other staff.
Coordinated by Chinese Language Society (CLS), the celebration presented an array of interesting activities and engagements with all event attendees including lion dance performance, yee sang, exhibition, garden festival, firecrackers and many others. This year also marked a special occasion, supported by Human Capital Management (HCM). Staff and students convened at the Persada Permata Dunia in celebration of this festive occasion as one community. As we embark on this new year, may the virtues of diligence, kindness, and resilience guide the MMU community on our journey towards prosperity and growth in the coming years.
