A total of 16 students from various faculties were selected to become the Malaysia Aviation Group Berhad (MAG) iCadet programme. MMU President, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud joined the MAGiC Onboarding Inaugural kick off that was held in Sepang on 2 February 2024. The event was also attended by Dato’ Mohd Khalis Abdul Rahim, Group Chief Human Capital Officer (GCHCO) of MAG together with his team members.
In his speech, Prof. Dato’ extended his gratitude for providing this opportunity for MMU students to learn from one of the long-standing organisations that was founded as a national airline in 1947. He also encouraged the students to grab this opportunity to acquire more knowledge from the industry leaders at the organisation. Among other event attendees were Dr. Siti Zakiah Melatu Samsi, Dean of the Faculty of Business (FOB), Ts. Dr. Low Jing Hong, Dean of Faculty of Management (FOM), Dr. Mokhtarrudin Ahmad, Dean of Faculty of Applied Communication (FAC), Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Junaidi Abdullah, Dean of Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI) and other staff members.
