Multimedia University (MMU) and Infineon Technologies Sdn. Bhd. continued to strengthen the relationship with the launch of a shared learning space called Infineon Corner @ MMU at the Melaka campus on 18 January 2024. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU welcomed Mr. Eng Seng Meng, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Infineon Technologies and his delegation to the campus.
In his speech, Prof. Dato’ extended his gratitude to Infineon for sponsoring the new learning space, which will greatly benefit the students. This establishment also marks the continuous partnership between industry and academia in supporting the effort of advancing research and knowledge and creating a skilled workforce. Among other event attendees were Prof. Dr. Wong Eng Kiong, Vice President of Student Experience and Entrepreneurship Development (SEED), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ng Poh Kiat, Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET), Prof. Dr. Lim Way Soong and other faculty members.
