A delegation comprising six representatives from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Kuala Terengganu Campus, embarked on a benchmarking visit to the Faculty of Business (FOB) with the purpose of assessing the Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) Digital Business Management program on 4 January 2024. Dr. Syahrul Hezrin Mahmud, serving as the assistant rector of the UiTM campus, led the delegation.
Upon their arrival, they were warmly received by Dr. Siti Zakiah Melatu Samsi, the esteemed dean of the FOB , accompanied by deputy deans, Heads of Departments (HODs), and other dedicated staff members from the faculty. During the visit, the delegates received a comprehensive briefing on the strategic trajectory of the faculty and its proactive measures to address the evolving industry demands.
Extensive discussions centered on the BBA (Hons) Digital Business Management program, with Dr. Peter Yuen offering insights into the program’s direction and objectives to the delegates. These deliberations delved into specific subjects intended for inclusion within the program, fostering an exchange of valuable ideas and insights that proved beneficial to both parties involved.
Moreover, the delegates were given the opportunity to explore several cutting-edge facilities at MMU Melaka, including the iBiz Lab, i-TRD lab, SHDL, and Rimbun Ilmu, culminating in a visit to MMU’s prestigious President Square, providing them with a comprehensive overview of the university’s resources and infrastructure. Subsequently, the delegation concluded their visit and returned to Terengganu.
