A total of 22 students from the Faculty of Computing & Informatics (FCI) accompanied by the Career Connect team and Deputy Dean of Student Experience & Alumni of FCI, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ng Kok Why participated in an industrial visit and tour to Sasana Kijang, Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) on 18 January 2024. The visit aimed to familiarise students with the infrastructure and facilities within a digital workplace.
The visit commenced with a welcoming speech by Chief Information Officer (CIO), Mr Tay Gim Soon followed by a sharing session by the former Kijang Graduate Programme. The speaker shared on the opportunities for the students to explore the programme and highlight the advantages and benefits of joining the programme.
The students had the opportunity to tour the IT infrastructures and InnovationLab, followed by an enjoyable visit to the Bank Negara Museum and Financial Service Library. The students also engaged in an interactive Q&A session. It is hoped that our students obtain insightful perspectives and knowledge from the industrial players.
