Three students from the Faculty of Computing and Informatics (FCI) – Habeba Nader Deyaaeddein Eisa, Tan Yong Hoa, and Wai Gah Ern – emerged victorious in the recent Hunt the Bug competition. They bagged cash prizes of RM1,000, RM800, and RM400, respectively, at a ceremony held on 21st September 2023 at Innov8 Lab.
The competition, organised by Anhsin Technology Sdn. Bhd., took place from 5th to 6th September 2023 at the Siti Hasmah Digital Library (SHDL). It drew a considerable number of Cyberjaya students who eagerly visited the booth and actively participated in the event. The prize-giving ceremony was attended by Ms. Camy, the Executive Director of Anshin Tech Sdn Bhd, and Ms. Sim, the Project Manager, lending prestige to the occasion.
Additionally, seven more students from FCI, the Faculty of Engineering (FOE), and the Faculty of Creative Multimedia, received consolation prizes. Notable attendees included Dr. Ng Kok Why, the Deputy Dean of FCI, and other staff members.
