The Centre for Alumni hosted the Alumni Indonesia Chapter on 23 September 2023. This online event was officiated by Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, President of MMU, and 30 alumni joined.
In the session, the meet and greet with the Vice President of Student Experience and Entrepreneurship Development (VP SEED), Prof. Dr. Wong Eng Kiong, hoped that one day they would become the next mentor for students’ career development, assist in developing a better entrepreneurial ecosystem, and provide meaningful endowments.
The Indonesia Chapter leader was elected during this auspicious event. Permata Dunia’s Muhammad Rizky Ananda (FOM) was elected as Chapter Leader, while Hendra Putra Wahyudi (FCI) was elected as Assistant Chapter Leader. Three lucky draw winners managed to bring back home a ‘Centre for Alumni’ special souvenir.
Dr. Ong Jeen Wei, the Director of Alumni Engagement, Career and Entrepreneurship Development (ACE), as well as the faculty deans, attended this event. Hopefully, there will be a gathering annually to strengthen the bond between the alumni and alma mater.
