On 22 August 2023, Research Management Centre (RMC) with the support of MMU Press and Technology Transfer Office (TTO) organised the “Research Award & Appreciation Ceremony Quarter 2, 2023” at Persada Permata Dunia, MMU Melaka campus. A total of 79 recipients received the Scopus Publication Reward Q2, 2023, and Ts. Dr. Lee Chin Poo from the Faculty of Information Science and Technology (FIST) was awarded with the Highest Scopus Publication Reward Recipient.
The event also celebrated six winners for the MMU Press Journal Reward. In addition, the innovation award recipients were also recognised for their successful patent filing and Innovation Award during the event. Dr. Sharlene Thiagarajah, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TM R&D graced the occasion and presented the awards to the recipients.
Dr. Sharlene also presented the certificate of recognition to the organising committee of the Digital Futures International Congress (DIFCON) 2023, which was successfully concluded on 28 July 2023. Also present during the event were Prof. Dr. Zulfadzli, Director of RMC; Dr. Olivia Tan Swee Leng, Director of TTO; and other staff members.
