MMU Alumni Releases His New Animated Series, Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire

Another remarkable milestone by our Permata Dunia was unlocked by Mr. Raymond Malinga for an animated series, Kizazi Moto that was launched on 5 July 2023. Graduated from the Faculty of Creative Multimedia (FCM) in 2014, Raymond and his team released the show which is now streaming on Disney Plus and Hotstar. The series highlights ten stories of the future from Africa. 

Mr. Raymond has established Creatures Animation Studio, a company that creates animations based on local African stories. One of their short films titled ‘A Kalabanda ate my homework’ won several international awards and nominations including a feature at the Cannes Film Festival.
