Tc. Hanafi Mahamud, an administration staff from the Faculty of Business (FOB) is appointed as an Industry Panel member for the Refinement Session of Internal Skills Training Assessment Questions in July 2023. The event took place from 4th to 6th July 2023 at Lexis Hotel in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. The Department of Skills Development (JPK) has set the objective of developing, coordinating, and centralising assessment questions for skills training as part of the implementation of the Malaysian Skills Certification System (SPKM).
The primary aim of this appointment is to ensure quality control. To achieve this, a question refinement session was conducted, where expert teaching panels worked to align the questions with the content of the National Occupational Skills Standards (NOSS) and industry practices in the relevant field. The questions developed will be evaluated by the appointed Industry Panel, specifically focusing on the field of operation: Computer Systems / IT-020-3:2013.
Tc. Hanafi Mahamud’s appointment as an Industry Assessor Panel member falls under the supervision of the Department of Skills Development (JPK), which operates under the Ministry of Human Resources. This collaborative effort involves a total of 30 Industry Panel members from various skill areas, along with 60 Teaching Panel members, actively contributing to the development of the assessment questions, thus ensuring a comprehensive and well-rounded approach.
